The Fundación Cerebro y Mente has as its primary objective to promote the fertile interchange of ideas and experiences between the experts and organizations involved in the understanding and treatment of brain disorders. To this end, it supports and facilitates the exchange of information and collaborative work between Universities, Hospitals, the Health Services and Pharmaceutical Industries. This support is mainly provided by fostering interdisciplinary events between basic and clinical neuroscientists. Its final goal is to develop the understanding of brain disorders for the benefit of the whole society.

Meetings

• Annual Scientific Meetings on monographic topics
• Biennial Scientific Meetings on a variety of topics

Educational Programs

• Monographic seminars and training workshops combining both theory and practice. These are based on the monographic scientific meetings

Research

• Research Programmes carried out at Universities, Hospitals and Private Organizations funded by private and public agencies
• Scientific Exchange Programmes between Universities and Hospitals within the Spanish territory and abroad
• Scientific Quality Evaluation Programmes on a specific area or topic
• Scholarships. The awarding of scholarships will be carried out within the foundation's research programme, previously approved by the Fundación Cerebro y Mente

Consulting

• Consulting services to assist and promote the development of new treatments for brain disorders

Statistics and evaluation

• These will be established by means of the appropriate IT resources, the situation and evolution of the different problems being under research and treatment
